BoraSystems focuses on two primary activities:
a) Development and distribution of business software, aimed at enhancing capital investment decisions, financial planning and data analysis. Please click on

b) High-level IT consultancy, for large and medium companies.
Martin G. Boragk, the main partner of BoraSystems, graduated in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Chile and holds an M.B.A. degree from University of Minnesota (USA).
Mr. Boragk was Researcher and Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Universidad de Chile, from 1975 to 1984.
He worked later as Operations Manager at Aetna Chile General Insurance (a former Aetna Inc. branch) and at ING General Insurance, from 1984 to 2002.

1.2 BoraSystems - Business Software
EasyPlanEx is a PC tool for evaluating, analyzing and optimizing capital investment projects. Its unique and simple capability to automatically evaluate all alternatives of a project (even thousands) allows to obtain higher profitability from projects at a manageable risk level.
MultiPlanEx is a PC tool for forecasting financial statements and analyzing financials plans.
Both tools facilitate team work, by means of understandable models with equations like SALES = VOLUME * PRICE, defined by the user. Furthermore, they automatically generate a comprehensive documentation of the project.
OlapIA is a Business Intelligence tool for PCs that has been specifically developed for final users who do not have programming knowledge.
1.3 BoraSystems - IT Consultancy
BoraSystems provides two types of high-level IT consultancy for large and medium companies:
a) IT Diagnosis, aimed at answering at least following questions:
¿ Is the IT and communications infrastructure appropriated for the objectives of the company ?
¿ Is the IT security, both physical and logical, at good level ?
¿ Are all data bases and files backed up periodically and stored in safe place ?
¿ Is the current organizational structure and staff level of the Systems Department appropriate ?
¿ Is the cost of the IT infrastructure, human resources and external services at reasonable level ?
¿ Do current information systems satisfy user needs ?
¿ Do information systems have adequate controls to reduce the possibility of unduly actions ?
¿ Does the Systems Department contribute to increase the competitive capability of the company ?
¿ Do users receive an appropriated service level that helps them to perform their jobs ?
¿ Does the Management have adequate information for decision making ?
¿ Is the company prepared to cope with a major contingency ?
This is a very cost-effective service that has been provided to important companies located in Chile and Argentine.
b) Continuous IT Consultancy, aimed at performing the responsibilities of an IT manager for medium or small companies which cannot afford to hire a full-time high-level professional. BoraSystems offers this service at a fraction of the cost of a full-time IT manager.
