1. Release of OlapIA, business software tool for multidimensional data analysis
A BETA version of OlapIA, new software being developed by BoraSystems, will be releasd on the third week of August.
This is a multidimensional data analysis tool aimed at non-expert users.
OlapIA allows final users to:
- Process large volumes of data (millions of records) using a spreadsheet interface, but without the limitations that Excel and other similar products does have.
- Transform input data, if necessary, by means of conversion tables and predefined statements.
- Define new variables that are computed by means of simple and self-documented statements, like:
SALES = PRICE * VOLUMEN
- Find relationships in the data by means of multidimensional analysis (OLAP - On Line Analytical Processing).
- Graph results using just a couple of clicks.
- Mantain an updated documentation about data, variables and cubes and generate a comprehensive documentation report.
- Restrict access to data to users according to profiles.
- Determine the origin (user, date time) of any modification.
- Quickly learn to use OlapIA because:
a) OlapIA is truly multilingual. English ans Spanish can be selected in each session.
b) OlapIA has a contextual help feature that explains any concept or command, at once. That's why OlapIA does not have an User Manual.
c) OlapIA brings with it a no-cost Introductory Course by which the user can develop a complete application.
