1.2 What are its main features ?
MultiPlanEx is a powerful PC software developed by BoraSystems that helps you forecast financial statements. MultiPlanEx is not a spreadsheet add-on. Its main features are:
1. Equations of models are written in common language:
For example: Sales = Price * Volume
2. MultiPlanEx generates series of values for independent variables through predefined rules.
3. MultiPlanEx perfoms risk analysis applying the Montecarlo technique, using various probability distribution functions (uniform, triangular, discrete, normal, etc.).
4. MultiPlanEx calculates the probability of obtaining specific results, i.e. probability of cash balance in certain period being less than a given la level.
5. MultiPlanEx performs automatic sensitivity analysis generating results for every possible combination of values for decision variables (as defined by the user). Moreover, MultiPlanEx can determine the best or worst scenarios.
6. MultiPlanEx has a report generating capability that allows you to easyily define new reports. It also allows you to consolidate periods of reports. Thus, by only clicking twice, a 120-month report can be converted into a compact 10-year report.
7. MultiPlanEx generates graphs with one click.
8. MultiPlanEx automatically generates the project’s documentation and enables to include additional explanations about variables and equations.
9. MultiPlanEx generates a project file for each work session and allows you to see the complete history of the development of the case.

2. MultiPlanEx Versions
MultiPlanEx is available in seven versions, with similar funcionality but with capacity and usage limitations that are specific to each one. They are: 1. FREE Free version for testing. 15-day license. Sensitivity and risk analysis can be performed simultaneously on three flows. Models cannot have more than 100 statements.
2. HOME Free full-functional version for students and home. 60-day license. Non-commercial use. Sensitivity and risk analysis can be performed simultaneously on three flows. Models cannot have more than 100 statements.
3. PRO Professional version, only available by purchase of a user license. Sensitivity and risk analysis can be performed simultaneously on six flows. Models can have up to 500 statements.
4. STAR Advanced version similar to PRO, plus: sensitivity analysis can be performed simultaneously on 12 flows, risk analysis can be performed simultaneously on 18 flows, and variables can be subject to constraints.
5. EDU Version available to universities, to be utilized exclusively in academic activities. Functionality is similar to the PRO version. It is licensed at a special academic price.
6. VIEW Free version similar to PRO, available to anyone who wants to see and analyze a plan that has already been developed. The structure of the plan cannot be altered. Modifications are not saved. 30-day license.

3. Requirements
MultiPlanEx runs on Windows® 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7 and requires a PC with at least 256 MB RAM and 400 MHZ CPU.
Requires about 50 MB of disk space.
4. Training and Support
MultiPlanEx includes training and support at no cost:
a) The software includes tutorial videos.
b) The software includes a self-learning course.
c) You may press ALT + CLIC on any window object to get in-context help at once.
d) MultiPlanEx has a built-in Help Center. That's why it does not require a user manual.
